United Ways throughout California help support the work of 2-1-1 agencies throughout the state by improving health, education and financial stability results for low-income children and families.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Volunteer at a local United Way. United Ways throughout the state provide numerous volunteer opportunities to help improve health, education and financial stability results of low-income families and children. In fact, they often organize such opportunities for state employees and local workplaces. Contact a local United Way near you to inquire about volunteer opportunities.
  • CaliforniaVolunteers. Through AmeriCorps, Disaster Volunteering, and Community Partnerships, CaliforniaVolunteers transforms small investments into community impact.
  • Volunteer March aims to strengthen communities by making it easier for people to find good causes nationally. The organization also partners with businesses to provide tools and services to help companies, brands, campuses and government manage volunteer programs and support corporate social responsibility initiatives.
