Provides a broad range of direct services for families, as well as information and referrals to other programs that may be of assistance.

    Application Assistance:
Help with enrollment and reporting for government services (i.e. Cal-Fresh, unemployment), job applications, housing applications, resume building and more.
    Community Advocacy:
We seek to meet the needs of families through bi-lingual, bi-cultural support on both a long and short-term basis. Our drop-in advocacy support aims to help our community access resources and set goals to address issues such as housing, employment, healthcare, education, substance abuse, domestic violence prevention, childcare and more.
    Healthcare Access:
Our advocates are here to enroll your family in programs such as Medi-Cal and the Covered California Health Exchange, and will help you select a primary care provider.
    Counseling Services:
MCR provides a safe, confidential place to express feelings and talk about changes. Counseling for children and adults by pre-licensed Clinical Counselors helps people learn to deal with stress and anxiety or work on other issues such as anger management, ADHD/Impulsivity, depression, grief/loss, divorce, conduct issues, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
    Together in the Park:
Join us for free parenting resources, crafts, music, stories and healthy snacks every Wednesday from 10:30am to 12pm at Felton Covered Bridge Park from April to October, and Mountain Community Resources from November to March.
    Parent Education:
Triple P/Parenting Classes: Provides families with proven strategies for strengthening relationships with their children, promoting children’s development, and preventing or managing common parenting challenges – tantrums, sibling rivalry, homework, bullying, bedtime routines, communicating with teens, and more.

    Emergency Preparedness:
We offer Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) trainings twice a year, in partnership with local emergency response agencies. Classes are available to teens and adults at no charge, and all materials are provided.
    Food Distribution:
Fresh, local organic produce, protein-rich foods, whole grains and more are available to the community every Thursday from 11am to 12pm.
    East West Natural Health Clinic:
Together with the East West School of Planetary Herbology, MCR provides access to community-based natural health clinics on the second and fourth Saturday of every month.
