- Description: Grizzly Youth Academy (GYA), partnership between California National Guard and the Grizzly Challenge Charter School. To effect the socialization of at-risk youth by elevating their academic level, improving self-esteem, and teaching basic life skills. Voluntary residential quasi-military charter high school.

- Hours: Mon-Fri, 8 am - 5 pm.
- Eligibility: Youth between the ages of 16 and 18 who have dropped out of high school, or are at-risk of dropping out (behind in credits, truant, expelled, etc.). Cannot be convicted of a felony. The program is voluntary, and a student cannot be court-ordered to attend or placed here. It is strictly voluntary.
