  • Description: A residential program that provides housing, meals, programming, supervision, and support services and resources in a safe, clean, drug-free environment for former inmates. The program offers services that focus on the needs of individuals serving long sentences such as employment, job search and placement training, stress management, victim awareness, computer-supported literacy, and life skills. Substance Abuse education and a 52-week certified domestic violence program are provided to parolees based on their assessed needs. The program provides peer-driven support, assistance, and guidance to newly released individuals to assist them with successful reintegration into their communities.

  • Eligibility: All parolees subject to the jurisdiction of Division of Adult Parole Operations (DAPO) are eligible for placement in the LTRR. Focus is on candidates that include:-Individuals serving long sentences granted release will be given first priority-Participants on active parole who have been referred by Division of Adult Parole Operations (DAPO) who have a need for transitional housing and/or reintegration services (acceptance on a case-by-case basis)-Individuals with serious and violent offenses (e.g. PC Sections 1192.7 and 667.5)-Additional referrals deemed appropriate by DRP
