  • Description: Offers two summer camps for kids that have been burn-injured and stayed in a hospital overnight. Supported by trained volunteer staff that consists primarily of firefighters, burn care professionals, and adult burn survivors. The Firefighters Kids Camp is a one-week program that is held annually in July to benefit young burn survivors who are age six (and completed the 1st grade) to age seventeen. The Little Heroes Family Burn Camp is a model burn recovery program focusing on burn survivors ages 1-8 years old and their families. The camp is usually held the first weekend in November.
