• Eligibility: Homeless/unhoused students in the Sacramento City Unified School District. Students are defined as unhoused/homeless if they lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence, such as:- Temporarily moved in with others due to loss of housing or financial problems (eviction, job loss, etc.).- In a motel/hotel, campground, or trailer due to a lack of alternative adequate accommodations.- In a shelter or a shelter transitional housing program.- A public/private place that is not designed for or normally used as a place for sleeping.- Cars, parks/public spaces, abandoned/condemned buildings, bus/train stations, or similar settings.- Homeless students also include unaccompanied youth, runaways, children abandoned inhospitals, and migratory children who live in the conditions described above.
