  • Description: Transitional Housing Program: A two-year transitional living program for 18-24 year-olds focused on living in a community and developing independent living skills. Youth live together and work with a case manager to gain and maintain employment, further their education, or meet other self-determined goals. Youth pay a portion of their income to rent. Applications are available at the Wind Center.Expanding Horizons: A 12 bed, 10 months - 2-year transitional housing program for transitional aged youth (18-24) experiencing homelessness and identifying as victim/survivor of a violent crime. Similar to the Transitional Housing Program the focuses are living in a community and developing independent living skills. Youth live together and work with a case manager to gain and maintain employment, further their education, or meet other self-determined goals.Step-Up Sacramento: A permanent supportive housing program in partnership with Next Move, where chronically homeless youth are given the most intensive supportive services.
