- Eligibility: California veterans who are aged and/or disabled and, under certain circumstances, their spouses and domestic partners.Eligibility requirements:1. Be 55 years or older, be homeless, or have a disability2. Be a veteran, having served on active duty3. Be a California resident4. Be discharged or released from active duty under conditions other than dishonorable5. Covered under a medical insurance policyThe following veterans are given priority for admission:- Medal of Honor recipients.- Former POW's- Veterans experiencing homelessness- Veterans with 70% or more service-connected disability ratings
