Accessible parking located in the City lot is NOT exempt from payment of parking fees. The passenger drop-off zone is located on the east side of the building in the area designated with the white stripes.

  • Description: Assists parties with divorce cases in Sacramento County to finish the case and get a final judgment. Volunteer attorneys and law students assist eligible parties in finalizing an agreement and preparing all of the necessary forms to obtain the final Judgment. Parties who successfully complete the process will go before a judge the same day and will leave the court with a Final Judgment of Dissolution of Marriage.Clinics are held on the second Friday of each month by appointment only. In some cases, participants are able to complete the process by noon, but you should be prepared to spend the entire day at the courthouse.   • Eligibility: The One Day Divorce Program is for self-represented litigants who have already filed a dissolution of marriage (divorce) case in Sacramento County and are ready for judgment.A case is ready for judgment if individuals can answer Yes to all of the following questions:- Do they have the summons and petition been served on Respondent?- Do they have Proof of Service of Summons OR a Response been filed with the Court?- Has each party who is active in the case completed the financial disclosure process?- Has each party who wants to participate filed an Income and Expense Declaration within the last four months?- Have both spouses reached an agreement on all orders that will be included in the judgment, including division of property and debts, spousal support, and if they have children, a parenting plan and child support?- Do both spouses meet the income eligibility requirement?
