  • Description: The Bookmobile brings the library to doorsteps and community events.Provides services to patrons who do not have access to a stationary library due to disability, disadvantages, or distance. Bookmobiles visit retirement communities, senior apartment complexes, assisted living facilities, convalescent and skilled nursing facilities, housing projects, and outlying communities.Vincent Van Go (aka Vinny) A kind-of library on wheels bringing books, movies, STEM kits, and mobile hotspots to affordable housing communities twice a month. See when Vinny is in communities and have requested books or other library items available for pick-up.Outreach Van This van provides pop-up programming, gaming, and/or presentations. Mobile library (aka The Wanderer) A Bookmobile that allows clients to walk in and browse the mobile stacks. The Wanderer travels to Rancho Murieta once a week and then makes the rounds throughout the county, visiting more than 40 regular sites once a month.
