Reference Librarians: Available whenever the library is open to assist patrons. Reference Librarians assist patrons in locating the best materials for their research and instruct patrons on the use of the printer and electronic resources, but cannot give legal advice or opinions, and cannot interpret case law, statutes, regulations, or any other types of document.. saclaw.org: Free legal information, including online guides to common legal procedures and topics; free forms for common legal matters; free videos on court procedures, including filing a new civil suit, preparing for trial, serving court documents, the court-required "Conservatorship Video," and more.. Self-Help Books: The library has a collection of self-help books on various topics designed to help individuals represent themselves. Search the catalog.. Databases (In-Library only): Provides patrons free access to a number of legal research databases. Borrowing Programs: Offers several programs that allow attorneys and Sacramento County residents to borrow materials.. Document Delivery: Provides copies of documents on request.
