- Description: Provides a variety of support programs for families and individuals. Offers a safe and comfortable environment and large play area. Services include: Parenting classes to enhance parenting practices and behaviors Mental health stigma reduction activities and referrals to mental health services Food assistance, nutritional outreach, senior nutrition program, and WIC at site Application assistance for GNS: Energy Assistance (home heating - electric, propane or wood) CalFresh (food) Medi-Cal (health insurance) Assistance in identifying and linking services: Senior assistance WIC Early Head Start Family fun nights Lending library with books for all ages Distributes free books to preschools monthly, and distributes these books on-site as well Youth Projects - Girls Circle - in local schools Computer lab along with copying and faxing services (for a fee, and free to Health and Human Services or GNS) Free events throughout the year (posted on Facebook)
