  • Description: The timeframe for families to request reissuance of expunged benefits on P-EBT cards issued in 2021 (known as P-EBT 2.0) has been extended from August 1 to August 18, 2023.To request a reissuance, families can contact the P-EBT 2.0 Expungement Helpline at 1-800-887-8230 (Monday - Friday 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM) or visit the P-EBT website at www.ca.p-ebt.org and use the P-EBT Live Chat (Monday - Friday 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM) to request a new card. These new cards should be received in late September through October.To qualify for a P-EBT Reissuance, families must have:Received a P-EBT 2.0 in 2021, andNot used any of the benefits on the card, causing the benefits to be expungedWhen calling or chatting, make sure you have the following information ready:First and last name of the child(ren) you believe is eligible,Date of birth of the child(ren), andThe address on file during the 2021 P-EBT 2.0 issuance An update on P-EBT 4.0 is also available: If anyone is asking about the next/last round of P-EBT to be issued, The P-EBT 4.0 partner materials in English and Spanish have launched and are available at www.ca.p-ebt.org.
