• Description: VINE is a free, anonymous, telephone service that provides two important features: Information and Notification.User's of the VINE program can access an offender's custody information by calling and following the prompts. VINE will quickly tell the caller if the offender is still in custody. The user can call VINE from any touch-tone phone, any time, to check on an offender's custody status.User may then choose to register for automatic notification call when an offender has a custody change such as: release, transfer, escape, death or unsupervised status. To register, callers simply enter the phone number, including area code, where they want to be reached. The user will then be asked to enter a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for use during notification. The PIN is used during the notification process to confirm and stop VINE notification calls.
