• Description: The Connecting Point Employment Services department offers the #CaliforniansForAll Youth Jobs Corps program. The program is focused on hiring youth ages 16-30 to work with local nonprofits or government agencies in the areas of COVID-19 recovery, food insecurity, and climate action. #CaliforniansForAll Youth Jobs Corps has three core goals:1. Increase employment for underserved youth across California2. Develop meaningful public service career pathways3. Enhance the capacity of local governments to address challenges in the key areas of food insecurity, climate action, and COVID-19 recovery https://www.californiavolunteers.ca.gov/youth-jobs-corps/ Through the #CaliforniansForAll Youth Jobs Corps program, nonprofit organization or local government agency employers can connect with eligible job applicants and expand their workforce while the Youth Job Corps program pays for training. The program: Places trained interns that match the needs of employers Pays an intern's wages for up to six months while employers provide role-specific training Provides interns with coaching and support for the duration of the internship Is open to both English only and Spanish only speakers

• Eligibility: The #CaliforniansForAll Youth Jobs Corps focuses on hiring youth who may not have access to traditional career-building resources.
