- Description: The PARTNERS Family Resource Center (FRC) provides a place for families in the Penn Valley area to connect, learn, and play. Assists families with child development, parenting support, counseling, education, employment tools, and community resources.NOTE: The FRC does NOT have any housing resources and does NOT have any gift cards, gas cards, etc.The FRC does offer public use computers, a resource library, a play area, and a clothes closet. Offers a playgroup on Wednesdays from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM for families with children 0-5. Offers weekly activities for older children. Call for details.---------------------This is a Ready to Grow (R2G) resource. Ready to Grow is a First 5 Nevada County program to connect children 0-5 with services and information that support their well-being. Organizations with programs that have this R2G tag may have additional programs of interest to families.
