  • Description: Offering an intake form for those impacted by the Camp Fire and other fires in Butte County, including Berry Creek and the North Complex Fire; to access AFWD’s resources to help find employment. The intake form provides AFWD with background information on an individual's case so they may direct them to resources and assistance effectively. Once the completed intake form is submitted, an AFWD representative will acknowledge receiving the form and a case manager will be in contact within 1 business day. Services and resources may include supportive services including but not limited to: gas cards for job search or employment/training, job and career training assistance, temporary work placement, career counseling, and assistance filing for unemployment. Services offered will vary on a case-by-case basis.

  • Hours: Forms can be submitted online at any time. Forms may also be submitted in person to the drop off box at The Workforce Recovery office M-F from 8am-5pm.
  • Eligibility: This intake form is intended for anyone impacted either directly or indirectly by the Camp Fire, North Complex fires, Berry Creek Fire and other fires in Butte County, who may be experiencing unemployment or underemployment. Individuals will need to show RTW (Right to Work) documentation and any employment or layoff/UI info available to access services.
