- Description: Educates and informs youth and community members about the negative health effects of tobacco and encourages smokers and chewers to access cessation services. Program strategies include collaborating and coordinating with regional partners and local community individuals, agencies, organizations and schools; recruiting and training diverse youth and adult coalition members; collecting relevant data for educational and evaluation purposes; developing educational materials; and conducting community education and outreach. All program strategies are implemented in recognition of and with sensitivity to the needs of our community.
