• Description: Offers Early Start services that include assessment and evaluation of special needs for infants and toddlers. Eligible children and their families receive early intervention services including assistive technology, psychological services, audiology services, training and counseling, some health and medical services, nursing, nutrition counseling, occupational and physical therapy, respite care, speech, language and vision services, transportation services, social work and service coordination. • Eligibility: Infants and toddlers at risk of disabilities; family self-referral or physician referral. Children must also meet the following criteria: Have a significant delay in at least one area of development, have an established risk condition with a known probability of causing disability or delay, are at "high risk" of experiencing developmental delays or disability due to a combination of biomedical risk factors or, have a severe vision, hearing, or orthopedic condition (solely low incidence).
