The center serves as the Veteran Administration's primary outpatient treatment facilities for post traumatic stress disorder and sexual trauma. Chico's Vet Center also offers services to the families of veterans as it relates to the veteran's readjustment issues. Services include individual, group, couples and family counseling.

• Eligibility: Applicants must be War Zone Veterans-all eras, including: WWII, American Merchant Marines, Korean War, Vietnam War and Vietnam Era Non-Theater, Lebanon, Grenada, Panama, Persian Gulf, Somalia, Operations Joint Endeavor, Joint Guard, Joint Forge and veterans of the Global War on Terrorism, Emergency Medical, Unmanned Aerial, Sexual Trauma/Harassment Counseling is for veterans of both sexes, all eras. Services are also available to the families of veterans as it relates to the veteran's readjustment issues or bereaved family of Armed Forces personnel who died in services.
