• Description: Offers a one-time emergency financial help for people who are struggling. Provides a safety net that can assist individuals when the unexpected happens. Depending on funding and need, in addition to the Rental Assistance provided by the Season of Sharing program. The Season of Sharing fund also makes it possible for support with medical equipment or other essential needs. Excludes medical and dental bills. Payments are always made directly to a vendor.

• Eligibility: Families with children living in the home, veterans, victims of domestic violence, seniors, or disabled adults. Must be ineligible for other forms of financial assistance. Must not have received emergency assistance from Community Action Marin within the past five years.
