Community Action Partnership Energy Services takes applications for the State of California Utility Payment Assistance program on behalf of the client. Eligible clients will receive a credit or payment on their utility bill from either PG&E, The Gas Co. or a propane supplier. This credit may be applied for and received one time per year.

Offers a weekly food pantry (fresh produce), a monthly food box and hot meals to people in need. Also offers utility bill payment assistance through the REACH program and HEAP (Home Energy Assistance Program).
Offers food pantries three times a week. Also helps with utility bill once a year. Offers toilet paper and other personal items to families in need once a month.Note: clients can only obtain food no more than twice a week.
Provides home weatherization services that may assist in replacing appliances. Offers energy conservation education. Offers energy bill payment assistance to low-income residents through the HEAP program. (HEAP application can be found here) Provides low-flow toilets for homes or businesses in the City of Watsonville Water Service Area.
Provides financial assistance for rent, security deposits, utilities, food vouchers, and auto repair. Also offers consultation, coaching and emotional support.Note: all payments are made directly to service providers.

This program actively mediates conflicts between seniors and Social Security, Medi-Cal, utility companies, collection agencies, neighbors, and other areas in dispute. Provides help filing for HEAP and Homeowner/Renter Assistance. Maintains a list of senior housing and board and care homes.
