Provides emergency financial assistance to low-income individuals with a diagnosis of disabling AIDS/HIV. Grants may be used to cover such items as emergency medications, housing and utility bills. The current maximum grant is $500 in a twelve-month period.
Works closely with more than 40 other AIDS service agencies in San Francisco to assure that its emergency assistance is coupled with referrals to other organizations that provide meals, counseling, subsidized housing and other longer-term assistance.
