• Description: An intensive outpatient program that can be utilized after the completion of residential care. Can also be used by those who do not require residential treatment but need more support than traditional outpatient services can offer. Clients will participate in the following therapeutic interventions: Individual therapy: Held once a week or more based on request. Helps clients process their feelings and experiences in a private setting with a certified chemical dependency counselor. Group therapy: Clients will participate in 24 to 30 group therapy sessions over a period of six to eight weeks. Clients can discuss the following topics in group sessions: Relapse Trigger & Prevention Plan Recovery Foundation Tools Healthy Communication Identifying Feelings Coping with Stress Impulse Control Anger Issues Attitudes Family therapy: Clients' loved ones can participate in family therapy sessions which cover educational topics that will help them understand drug and/or alcohol addiction and learn how to support the individual they care about in a meaningful way. Medication management education: Monthly educational opportunities that help clients understand the importance of medication-assisted treatment, following prescription medication regimens, etc. Upon completion of this outpatient program, clients can participate in weekly aftercare treatment for a lifetime, if they so choose.
