  • Description: Eight Week Outpatient Treatment Program for adolescents between the ages of 13 to 17, who have a behavioral health disorder but do not require 24-hour intensive care. They can receive treatment while still attending school.Program Modules Mindfulness: The quality of awareness we bring to what we are doing and experiencing, being in the here and now Distress Tolerance: Four groups of crisis survival strategies (distraction, self-soothing, improving the moment, and pros and cons) Emotional Regulation: The understanding of how emotions work and the skills needed to manage emotions instead of being managed by them Interpersonal Relations: The application of the skills learned in the other modules to relationships with loved ones and those around us
