• Description: A United States Department of Agriculture program designed to help children receive nutritious, well-balanced meals.The program is available to children under the age of 13 who are in licensed family childcare homes. Beanstalk acts as an umbrella sponsor for over 600 licensed family childcare homes throughout the region. The meals must meet the standards established by the USDA. • Eligibility: The following criteria must be followed in order to qualify for the program.A provider must:- Be licensed or trustline registered- Be willing to serve meals that meet USDA requirements- Have at least, one (1) child in care- Keep accurate and up-to-date records- Submit CACFP records monthly- Be available during meal times for monitoring reviews and to meet with program representatives- Participate in annual training as well as on-going training
