- Description: RPEA is a non-profit association of retirees and active employees who are members of the California Public Retirement System (CalPERS). Chapters serve as information centers for members to discuss issues affecting their pension and benefits, for members to meet together for social and business activities, and as a direct link between local membership and RPEA headquarters.Offers low-cost group health, vision, dental, and long-term care to members. Benefits include discounted entertainment tickets at Legoland, Knotts' Berry Farm, and the California Science Museum. Provides advocacy for members in the State Legislature and at CalPERS. A bi-monthly newsletter with general information and legislative and health care updates.
