- Description: A suicide prevention outreach program for transitional-aged youth (TAY) in the foster, homeless, and LGBTQ communities. Offers educational groups that teach youth how to use resources to promote health and well-being. Case management and peer support are also provided to facilitate linkages and to connect homeless and runaway youth with community resources and emergency supplies.Groups include: SuicideTALK: Workshops for suicide prevention. Open to youth in the community and on campus, as well as to staff and community partners. Life Skills Groups: For foster youth on campus and for foster and homeless youth in the community. Adolescent Social Skills and Self Advocacy Groups: Open to adolescent foster youth on campus. LGBTQ Teen Support Group: Open to youth in the community and on campus.Seeking Safety Evidence-Based Practice: Curriculum for trauma and substance use.
