- Description: Family Resource Center (FRC) offers a variety of free programs to families with children up to the age of 18.Programs include:Birth & Beyond In-Home Visitation helps improve parenting skills in order to reduce instances of abuse and neglect. Designed for at-risk families with children under the age of six (or a pregnant woman). Connects families with community resources, health education, and information.Parent Education - Workshops at the Family Resource Center are available at no charge and cover a variety of parenting issues.Other services located within the Firehouse FRC include, but are not limited to: Crisis Intervention and CPS Joint Visitation Baby Bonding Classes School Readiness Black Infant Health Counseling Services (family & individual, Spanish) Moms Support Group Stress Management & Coping Socialization & Recreational Activities Public Computer Lab Car Seat Safety, Helmet Safety, & Water Safety Infant Safe Sleep Youth Sports: baseball, soccer, basketball, football, and cheer. Use of printer and fax for a fee Anger management classes
