- Description: Lions District 4-C1 is the Northern California part of Lions Clubs International. It consists of 48 clubs in 12 counties. Each Club taps resources already in place in their local community. Each has its own budget, equipment, personnel, and financial resources. Each also has access to Lions Clubs' resources across the State, Country, and around the world. Each club organizes several fundraising events and activities throughout the year. Uses funds for service projects.Projects vary by club and may include: Helping people who have vision needs (accepts used eyeglasses for re-use) Helping people who have hearing needs (accepts hearing aids for re-use) Diabetes outreach, awareness, and research Sponsors summer camp for children who have Type 1 Diabetes last week of June.
