- Description: Provides a variety of support programs for families and individuals. Offers a safe and comfortable environment and community playroom. Services include: Child development activities - enrichment for parents and children Support services for children ages 0-5 - Kindergarten readiness Parenting classes to enhance parenting practices and behaviors Mental health stigma reduction activities and referrals to mental health services Distribution of free books to preschools monthly. Also available on-site. Application help for GNS: Energy Assistance (home heating - electric, propane or wood) CalFresh (food) Medi-Cal (health insurance) Help in linking to services such as senior assistance, WIC and Early Head Start. Monthly help available from: Family law facilitator Child support services Domestic violence services Social security services Computer lab along with copy and fax services (for a fee, and free to Health and Human Services or GNS) Free events throughout the year.During a Disaster event: Provides disaster case management. During a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) event: This program may not able to provide services.
