Services include: Weekly playgroup and fun events Developmental screening (utilizing Ages and Stages Questionnaire) School Readiness programs Free book program for ages birth to five Parenting Kit distribution for new and expecting parents Parenting classes to enhance parenting practices and behaviors Nurturing Parenting/Strengthening Families program for families in Substance Abuse Recovery Women's Circle group Family advocacy and problem-solving, with referrals to clothing, child care and more Help with finding jobs, building resumes and filling out job applications Help with finding housing GNS Application assistance: Energy Assistance (home heating - electric, propane or wood) CalFresh (food) Medi-Cal (health insurance) Mental health workshops and referrals Copy machine and fax services Free events throughout the year Information and referral to disaster case management.
