Arts Education
Our SPECTRA & Mariposa Arts programs provide schools and organizations across the county with high-quality arts education residencies, fun and exciting after-school programs, performances, and workshops.
We also work to strengthen and expand the capacity for schools and teachers to provide sustainable arts education models through professional development and advocacy. We spark the imaginations of more than 18,000 youth each year, engaging students through SPECTRA, the Artist Teacher Partnership, Family Arts Nights, and Mariposa Arts.
Our Arts Education programs help youth develop artistic skills, while promoting academic success and socio-emotional development through the arts. Through these arts, music, and dance, and theater programs, youth learn to express themselves, creatively problem-solve, make healthy choices, and positively impact their communities.Youth Services: Career Exploration and Development, Health and Wellness, Social-Emotional Support, Youth Leadership
