Survivor Healing Center is currently offering online support groups, therapy sessions, and workshops, articles posted with resources and tools for survivors, parents, and community members. On this page we list small online groups of three to five people that meet on zoom for an hour. They are for support, grounding, continuing to weave our social fabric to feel less alone in the time of COVID 19, social distancing and wildfires. Survivors Healing Center: Survivors Support Groups/ Survivors of Crime
It provides a welcoming place for survivors of child sexual abuse and their allies. that is centered around support and healing. Services include therapy groups/survivor support groups for women, men, parents of survivors and Latina survivors, workshops on Healing the Brain and the Nervous System, Relationships and Connection, Healing and the Body, Compassionate Communication, Creativity, lending library, information and referrals, special events and a safe place for fellowship and peer support. It also provides training, resources, presentations, and outreach to the community around the issue of child sexual abuse and sexual violence.
Crime
It provides a welcoming place for survivors of child sexual abuse and their supporters. Child sexual abuse is the most under-reported crime, therefore support and therapy groups play a crucial role in empowering survivors. Services include therapy groups for women, men, parents of survivors and Latina survivors, workshops on Healing the Brain and the Nervous System, Relationships and Connection, Healing and the Body, Compassionate Communication, Creativity, lending library, information and referrals, special events and a safe place for fellowship and peer support. It also provides training, presentations, and outreach to the community around preventing the crime of child sexual abuse.
