- Description: Provides course for family members, partners, and friends. with a loved one with mental illness. Services include:
Family-to-Family: a 8-week program to educate and support families. Provides information about treatment and recovery. Provides coping skills and self-care, crisis management, communication techniques, and other topics.
Family Support Groups: bi-weekly drop-in support groups for families affected by mental illness.
Helpline: answers questions, educates callers, and provides information. About mental health resources in the County.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: classes for those with mental illness.
General Meetings: Providing educational lectures and expert speakers. Topics are timely and include treatment updates, community resources and time for Q & A.
Speakers Bureau: speakers are available to present to community and other groups. Educates the public about mental health issues and eliminates stigma.
Advocacy: Advocate for evidence-based practices and policy. Supports access for mental health support and the elimination of stigma!
